Chapter 3 snowfield: clock warning, cabin detonator and skiing
Stop both movement and mouse input when the clock monster displays Don't move. At the cabin, use the outdoor detonator on Nokiwa's sound cue. Ski with A/D and Space to brake, then follow the dark corridor after the descent into the next chapter.

Choose the scene on your screen
The video positions below locate scenes in BENG's released-game run; they do not set your run's pace.
| Where are you stuck? | Your next action | Footage |
|---|---|---|
| Snow bridge and clock-headed creature | Keep a straight line; stop all input during Don't move. | Clock encounter — 44:00 |
| Cabin, fence and Nokiwa | Find the detonator by the rock and wait for his lure's sound cue. | Cabin instructions — 53:50 |
| Downhill ski route | Use A/D to steer and Space to brake before a difficult turn. | Ski controls — 57:50 |
| Dark corridor after skiing | Wait where Nokiwa asks, then continue on his direction cue. | Corridor — 1:04:40 |
Snow bridge: separate your line from cake correction
After Nokiwa's opening explanation, face along the snowy route and align with the centre of each narrow stretch before moving onto it. Use short straight movements and settle the cake on safe ground between crossings. If you fall off the bridge while the cake stays on the tray, change your starting angle and steering; if only the cake falls, keep the route and reduce the mouse correction.
Clock monster: stop during Don't move
The red clock-headed creature uses a stop-and-go encounter. When Don't move appears, release your movement keys and leave the mouse still. Resume once the warning clears, using the next visible route segment rather than a long burst of movement.
A small reflex mouse correction can be the last input before a failed stop. On a retry, focus on one clean stop and restart before trying to gain more distance. Lowering balance difficulty can help with the tray, but the encounter's displayed instruction still determines when you should move.

Cabin trap: the detonator is outside by the rock
The route brings you to a fenced wooden cabin. Nokiwa's plan is to lure the clock creature inside with his saxophone; your actionable object is the upright T-handled detonator outside, beside the rock, with the cabin visible beyond it.
- Listen to Nokiwa's cabin instructions and move to the outdoor device. Use the fence, rock and cabin roof to locate it rather than searching inside the building.
- Stay at the detonator while Nokiwa carries out the lure. His instruction ties activation to the sound of the saxophone, so wait for that cue.
- Activate the device with your interaction binding when the cue arrives. The explosion at the cabin confirms that the trap advanced.
- Let the aftermath play out. The clock creature rewinds the event; follow Nokiwa's continuing instructions and leave the camp toward the ski route.

If you can see the cabin but have no interaction, return to the separate outdoor device. If the creature reappears after the explosion, that is the rewind sequence: continue the scene rather than trying to repeat the blast to make it disappear permanently.
Ski course: A/D steering and Space brake
At the start of the descent, the tutorial explicitly shows A = Left, D = Right, Space = Brake. These are the recorded keyboard defaults; use the displayed equivalent if your controls are remapped.

Look toward the next flag-marked gap, brake before the difficult turn, and use short A/D inputs to establish your line. Straighten after passing the gap so that the previous turn does not carry you toward the next obstacle. Make small cake corrections between steering inputs rather than dragging the mouse widely through a sharp turn.
On a repeated failure, distinguish hitting a flag or obstacle from dropping the cake on an otherwise clear line. For a collision, begin the turn earlier and use the brake sooner; for a cake drop, keep the successful line and reduce mouse movement. The useful change is a specific earlier action, not simply another run at the same speed.
Dark corridor after skiing: wait, then follow the cue
The reviewed route reaches the dark interior after the ski descent. Follow the hanging lamps along the passage. When Nokiwa asks you to wait, stay in place until his dialogue advances, then continue when he directs you onward.
Follow the available passage through the door and the projected Nokiwa imagery toward the chapter transition. If you are standing in the corridor without progress, check whether his conversation has finished and whether the onward passage is available. At this point your task is to follow that cue and route; the earlier snow encounter's stop warning belongs to a separate scene.
Sources, version and next chapter
Reviewed October 2, 2026, against BENG's Chapter 3 recording, from the clock encounter through the cabin, skiing and corridor. The two new images are attributed gameplay frames. Device locations, tutorial bindings and event order are observations from that run; the turn preparation and retry diagnosis are our editorial recommendations.
The official Steam page explains the difficulty settings, and Version 1.02 records the Super Easy tilt fix. Use controls and cake balancing for input setup or difficulty and checkpoints for a mid-run adjustment. After the corridor, continue with the Chapter 4 mannequin lights and corridor walkthrough.
